Due to continued requests for and support towards our legal battle in Minnesota to protect fairness in women’s sports, we have now provided a legal fund donation link.  

As many of you know, USA Powerlifting is involved in litigation in Minnesota involving the appropriate and fair inclusion of transgender athletes. The judge assigned to this case has ordered us to cease doing business in Minnesota even though we complied with an earlier court order by submitting a revised policy concerning male to female transgender athletes. We have been informed that the Arnold 2021 in Columbus will be postponed due to COVID.   The organizers will be holding their bodybuilding and strongman competitions in fall of 2021, but are looking to bring back the expo and the other sports in March 2022. As we get closer to 2021 Fall/Winter, we hope to have additional news on the format for the 2022 Arnold.

An NGB Proposal to set a 14-day deadline for weight class changes at Nationals has been passed and will take effect immediately. National Events (High School,Collegiate, Open, Raw, Military, and Bench Press) All weight class changes must be made 14 days prior to the start of the National competition.
