USA Powerlifting is accepting bids for the 2026 USA Powerlifting High School Nationals, to be held one of the last two weekends of March, 2026,

Complete the Bid Application below and submit your bid to BOTH the National Office and Teen/Jr Committee Chair by March 20, 2024.

Vote on submitted bids will take place at Teen/Junior committee meeting on April 4, 2024 at High School Nationals.

Bidder is encouraged to attend the committee meeting to present their bid.

The winning bid will then be submitted to the Executive Committee for Final Approval.

Venue Location: Our location is inside the expo hall HERE (lower left corner of the map)

Registration & Expo Wristbands (Lifters & Coaches) B 230-231 All lifters and coaches will be required to show identification and current USA Powerlifting Membership to register and pick up their wristbands.
Thursday Early EQ and Registration: 4-5 pm
Friday: 7:15 am – 12:30 pm; 3:30-5 pm
Saturday: 6:15 am – 9 am, 12:15 pm – 6 pm
Sunday: 7:15 am – 1:00 pm

Equipment Check B 230-231
Early Equipment check Thursday from 4 pm-5 pm. All other equipment checks will occur during weigh-ins for the applicable session.

Weigh-ins & Weight-Check Scale B 230-231
Weigh-ins will start 2hrs before the start of each scheduled session and last 1.5hrs. The weight-check scale will be available during weigh-in times and the above-posted registration times.

Qualifying For Raw Nationals

Beginning in 2025 qualifying totals achieved at LOCAL MEETS will no longer qualify one for Raw Nationals. Qualifying total achieved during the current or prior calendar year at State, Regional, National, World Cup, or Pro meets will continue to be valid.

Updated Rulebook V2024.1 Now Posted

The January 1 update for the rulebook (Rulebook v2024.1) is now posted on the Technical Committee portion of the national website.

In light of the major changes made this past September, the goal was to only make the minimal changes that were needed which resulted in only a few updates/changes/clarifications. These are identified throughout the rulebook by the blue highlighted text as well as in list form in the newly added Appendix H.

Unless there is some urgent change(s) needed before September (as determined by the Executive Committee), the soonest any changes will occur will be after the September NGB meeting.

All referee exams have been updated to be consistent with the Rulebook v2024.1.

USA Powerlifting will be migrating to its new membership portal on Wednesday, January 3^rd, 2024. The system will be down that day and you will not be able to purchase or renew memberships. We expect to have the membership portal available for purchase/renewal beginning January 4^th. Registration opens this Friday December 1, at 5 PM EST, will be on a first come, first serve basis to those that have a QT DOTS of 450 female / 475 male.
Registration will close as soon as the 50 lifter cap has been reached.

Service Announcement

A couple of important notices regarding operations.

SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

The membership database will be offline starting Monday October 23rd from noon EST through midnight Wednesday October 25 EST for maintenance. There is a chance the updates will be completed earlier but PLEASE use this chance to run your membership check for any upcoming meets.

SANCTION APPLICATIONS:

There is now a dedicated email account for sanction applications. Please send your final signed application to sanctions@usapowerlifting.com for processing. Questions regarding applications can go to that same account. The email is also listed at the top of the application.

RESULTS:

Meet directors now have the option to upload drug test paperwork when you submit your meet results. This replaces having to mail documents to the National Office if you so choose. Scanned documents must be clearly legible and show the entire page. Meet directors should save the originals for 6 months. You’ll see the following section on the results upload form:

There’s a similar section for American records applications for those meets where records are eligible to be set.

Neither of these features are mandatory. Meet directors still have the option to mail paperwork and payments to the National Office.
